Growing calls for Harry Gregg to receive an honorary knighthood thumbnail

Former Northern Ireland and Manchester United striker Norman Whiteside is among those calling for Harry Gregg to receive a knighthood.
Whiteside, who starred for the Old Trafford club in the 1980s, has added his name to the thousands calling for the Coleraine man to be honoured.
He took to social media at the weekend to back the campaign.
Gregg (85) is one of just two survivors of the Munich Air Disaster in February 1958 which claimed the lives of 23 people. He was widely lauded for his actions in the immediate aftermath of the crash as he helped rescue fellow passengers.
