COLERAINE'S Lauren Wade has been speaking of her pride after scoring her first international goal for the Northern Ireland Ladies football team.
Wade, the grand-daughter of former Coleraine chairman Hugh Wade, scored in a 2-0 win over Kazakhstan last week.
"It's a proud moment for me to get my first international goal and it's always an honour to represent your country," said Lauren.
"As a player you want to play at the highest level so I am very grateful for the opportunity," she added.
NI ladies are competing in the Turkish Women's Cup as part of preparations for World Cup qualifiers against The Netherlands and Norway in April.
