MAGHERAFELT Rossas have got a new management team who take over from Chris Collins, the three man team is headed by former Tyrone and Donaghmore forward Adrain Cush.
The others of the trio are Paul Quinn and James Slater. Magherafelt have under performed in the last few years and with a strong back up of under age talent coming through things should start moving in a positive direction.
James McGrath the new man at Drum
Intermediate club St Colm's Drum have appointed the vastly experienced James McGrath to take over as manager from Kieran O'Kane who stepped down after three years as joint manager.
McGrath a former Slaughtneil and Derry county minor player has been involved in several coaching and managerial positions with his own club.
Last year he was coaching Desertmartin and previous to that he had spells with Ballerin, Moneymore and Drumsurn.
Drum got promoted from Division Three at the end of 2016 and were considered hot favourites for relegation but they defied the odds with early wins over Ballerin, Steelstown, Moneymore and Castledawson.
Those eight points were sufficient to keep them up and although they did not get any more victories they were highly competitive for the rest of the season.
One area the new manager will be looking at is their poor scoring returns.
They were by far the lowest scorers in the division last season with an average of just under eleven points per game.
