COLERAINE pool player Adam Freeburn admits his ambition is to join the Professional IPA tour as he continues to impress on the world stage.
The 17-year-old Coleraine Grammar School pupil completed a famous double just recently when he helped Northern Ireland win both the Under-18 Doubles and Team events at the Nations Cup in Malta.
He is now back at school but is keen to learn more about the international game.
“My ambition is to take part in the Professional IPA Tour but my dad's ambition is for me to do well in school," admitted the 'A' level student.
“I'd say winning the Under-18 Doubles and Team events in Malta is my greatest achievement to date but I've also been lucky enough to pot the winning black against South Africa in Killarney last year.
