Portrush too strong for Harlequins thumbnailThe Portrush First XV who comfortably got the better of Belfast Harlequins on Friday evening

PORTRUSH First XI faced one of their toughest tests of the season to date against Belfast Harlequins - and still recorded an easy win.
Brent Smith continued his excellent start to the season by putting Portrush ahead with the second the result of outstanding defence.
John Dillon dispossessed the Harlequins winger and played a clever ball to Barry before the ball was returned to John who made it 2-0.
Scott, Stephen, Owen and Graeme controlled possession and their excellent work brought a third. Scott received a pass in the D, and after beating two men squared the ball to Smith who slapped in his second at the back post. Portrush completed the first half with another goal. Leon Smith robbed the Harlequins centre back, isolated the keeper and passed to Brent who completed another hat-trick.
