Coleraine are well beaten by Armagh thumbnailColeraine’s Stephen Callaghan makes up some ground against Armagh Seconds in the Conference League at Sandel Lodge. WK42-10TMSP

COLERAINE lost out to a strong Armagh side in the Conference League on Saturday.
With the final score reading 7-20, the Bannsiders had struggled to make an impression on the Armagh men and it was only in the dying minutes of the game that they got on the scoresheet.
The Coleraine side was depleted due to unavailability and injury and coach Richard Boyd will be hoping to have a stronger selection for this weekend's Junior Cup match away to the same Armagh team.
The quarter-finals of the Millar McCall Wylie Cup this year pitches four Championship sides against four All-Ireland Second fifteens and a great weekend of very competitive rugby is in prospect.
On Saturday the visiting Armagh side claimed the first three points from a penalty awarded just three minutes into the game. Coleraine missed a penalty opportunity five minutes later, the ball drifting just wide (0-3).
With twenty minutes gone Armagh again attacked with the fly-half sprinting across the line for the try and then converting (0-10).
