Derry Minors reach All-Ireland final thumbnail

DERRY turned in a composed performance to reach the All-Ireland Minor Football final with a superb 0-17 to 0-14 victory over Dublin in Croke Park last Sunday afternoon to set up a final meeting with three-in-a-row champions Kerry.
The lead changed hands several times throughout a pulsating game.
Dublin took a 0-8 to 0-7 lead into the break with four David Lacey points and two each from James Doran and Ross McGarry their main scorers, while Patrick Quinn hit four for Derry.
Both sides were gulty of missing chances in that first half with Derry spurning several good opportunities.
Dublin seemed to have gained the upper hand midway through the second half as points from Doran and Lacey helped them to a two point lead.
