‘We expect a physical battle’ thumbnail

THE coach of Coleraine's Europa League opponents FK Haugesund admits he is expecting a 'hard and physical battle' in both both legs of their Europa League first qualifying round which begins on Thursday.
But, while wary of the threat posed by Oran Kearney's men, Eirik Horneland hinted that his ambition is to emulate fellow Norwegian club Molde and qualify for the group stages of the competition.
“We are very much looking forward to playing in Europe again having taken part in Europa League qualification back in 2014," he said.
“We have a clear intention to advance as far as possible and hope to join both Tromsø and Molde as Norwegian teams to reach the group stage of Europa League in recent years.
