Eabha boxes her way into the history books thumbnail

ERRIGAL Amateur Boxing Club in Garvagh has its first ever female All Ireland champion - Eabha Mullan.
The 11-year-old defeated Tia Atwell from Ennis, county Clare, in her final in Dublin to write a new chapter in the history of the famous old club.
It's just the latest in a string of successes for the St. Columba's Primary School pupil following triumphs in the Nine Counties and Ulster Novices championships.
“Eabha has been a revelation since she started boxing," explained veteran club coach Danny Deighan.
“She only started boxing last September and has gone ten fights undefeated since.
