Former Coleraine Grammar School pupilís Ulster debut thumbnail

IN years to come, Ulster Rugby supporters will no doubt reminisce about Ruan Pienaar's last game for Ulster.
While many will look back on the occasion with great sadness, others - like Callum Smith - will have nothing but happy memories of the game against the Barbarians at Kingspan Stadium.
That's because the date - June 1 2017 - marks the senior Ulster debut of the former Coleraine Grammar School pupil who came on on the wing with 15 minutes remaining against Vern Cotter's star-studded side.
The Castlerock teenager admits he was nervous in the build-up to the game but adds that once he entered the field of play it was just like any other game.
“It was a great experience," says Smith, who celebrates his 19th birthday on Tuesday (June 13).
“I had been training with the squad for a couple of weeks prior to the game but I was still very surprised when I got the call to play.
