‘We have to do better’ admits Derry’s Keenan thumbnail

DERRY defender Niall Keenan believes all the pressure is on defending Ulster champions Tyrone as the counties prepare to meet at Celtic Park in the Ulster Senior Football Championship this Sunday.
Twelve months ago, the Red Hands inflicted an embarrassing defeat on the Oak Leaf men in their own backyard on their way to lifting the Anglo Celt Cup.
And with Derry plying their trade in Division Three of the National League next season, most pundits are predicting a similar outcome this time.
Not so the Castledawson clubman.
“Tyrone are a very good side and while it will be far from an easy match we feel that we can come out of the right end of the result and I don't see any reason why we can't do that," he said.
“We know Tyrone are very good, but we know that we're very good as well.
“The pressure is on them as the holders to go out there and beat us, but at home and in front of a crowd I'm confident we can get the win.
“We have to believe that as a squad, and we do."
