DEREK Sheils scooped the feature race of the day at the KDM Hire Cookstown 100 onboard the Burrows Engineering Suzuki.
The Dubliner lapped just under the circuit record, whilst Derek McGee took second place, despite running wide and loosing time.
William Dunlop was denied the final podium spot on the final lap when Michael Sweeney nipped past to make it an all Southern Irish podium. James Cowton, none the worse for his spill in the opening Superbike Race, was fifth from newcomer Alaistair Kirk.
“It's great to win this race again for the Burrows Engineering Team," said Sheils. "The lads really work hard - they deserve to share the win. I felt really comfortable and could have went harder if I had been pushed."
