The stuff of which legends are made thumbnailDarren McCauley, Jamie McGonigle, Gareth McConaghie and Eion Bradley rush to congratulate Brad Lyons after he opens the scoring during Saturday evening’s Irish Cup semi-final against Glenavon at Ballymena Showgrounds.

COLERAINE'S matchwinner James McLaughlin carried out his manager's instructions to the full after climbing off the bench to score a late winner in Saturday's Tennent's Irish Cup semi-final win over Glenavon.
McLaughlin, who replaced Ian Parkhill with fifteen minutes remaining, was sent on with the words 'it's occasions like this when legends are made' and did just that with a powerful close range header in the eighty ninth minute.
In the process, McLaughlin completed the set of top flight clubs he has scored against since making the transition from junior football.
“I don't think I saw the ball hit the back of the net," said the big striker who was off to celebrate as soon as the ball left his head.
“It was one of them ones - I got a good contact on it and knew it was going in.
“It makes up for frustrating season in some way but it's all about the squad.
It's about everybody and not just the players and it's not every day you can say you're stepping out at Windsor on Irish Cup final day.
“Coming from Coleraine as well it's crazy," he added.
McLaughlin's goal was a dramatic end to a pulsating game played in front of a huge crowd.
