Kearney bemoans missed chances thumbnail

COLERAINE manager Oran Kearney believes that with better finishing his team would have taken something from the Boxing Day derby at Ballymena.
The visitors spurned a number of good openings - particularly in the second half - as they went down to a 2-0 defeat to David Jeffrey's side.
The Braid men are now eight points ahead of their bitter rivals in the Danske Bank Premiership table as the league enters its second half.
First half goals from Cathair Friel and Tony Kane gave the home side a comfortable half-time lead and they defended stoutly after the restart to make it two wins in less than two weeks against the same opponents.
