Whiteside special guest of Harry Gregg Foundation thumbnailManchester United legends Norman Whiteside and Harry Gregg at the Royal Court for the Harry Gregg Foundation Dinner.

FORMER Manchester United and Northern Ireland legend Norman Whiteside was the special guest at a dinner held in honour of another former Man Utd and NI legend - Harry Gregg - on Friday night. Several hundreds guests attended a dinner in the Royal Court Hotel to recognise the contribution made to the game by a man voted Best Goalkeeper at the 1958 World Cup in Sweden.
He enjoyed a hugely successful career at old Trafford before going on to manage a number of clubs following his retirement from playing.
Harry also had an impact with a number of clubs after returning to the province.
In more recent times, he has lent his name to the Harry Gregg Foundation which provides an opportunity for hundreds of youngsters to play the beautiful game every weekend.
Needless to say, there were many stories shared on the night by Harry, Norman and other members of the football fraternity.
