COLERAINE First XI played Owls at Rugby Avenue on Saturday and came away with a hard fought win and another clean sheet.
The first half began with sustained attacking pressure from Coleraine down both wings and Grace Bradley was unlucky not to score after a few well-timed runs through the centre of the visitors' defence.
Coleraine's efforts soon paid off when Alice McGill made a decisive run from the defensive line to pick up a clever lay off from Sue Nutt, finishing with an unstoppable strike and goal from the right of the circle.
The centre field duo repeated this play 10 minutes later with similar result - Alice McGill calmly walking the ball into the centre of the circle before scoring again, except this time from her reverse side, putting Coleraine into a comfortable 2-0 lead going into half-time.
