THE mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council says the opening of a new 1.5m leisure park in Ballycastle will help strengthen the north coast's position as a 'destination of choice.'
Cllr Brenda Chivers was speaking after officially opening the Atlantic View Leisure Park at Clare Road on Saturday.
The park, boasting over 100 caravans and lodges, is the latest development from the McNicholl Caravan Parks Group and represents a major investment in north Antrim.
"With continued investment like what we have witnessed in Ballycastle with this development I have no doubt we will continue to strengthen our position as a destination of choice," said the mayor.
