Hotel developer ‘fully committed’ as legal action gets underway thumbnail

DEVELOPERS behind plans for £20m hotel at the NW200 paddock have vowed to forge ahead, despite the start of  legal action against the council's decision to grant planning approval.
MLA Jim Allister and fellow objector Robert Agnew formally launched judicial review proceedings on June 4 - one day before the time limit on a court challenge expired.
The move came almost six months after the council's planning committee voted to approve the four-star hotel scheme.
On Wednesday the first hearing was held at the Judicial Review Court in Belfast.
