Councillor fears tensions are rising thumbnail

SECTARIAN tensions are deliberately being ramped up ahead of the Twelfth by "known Republican drug dealers,"  according to PUP Councillor Russell Watton.
Mr Watton said two attempts have been made to prematurely ignite Eleventh Night bonfires in Ballysally.
While in the Heights, Irish tricolours have been hung on lampposts in streets where Protestants and Catholics have been living peacefully together for years.
“These are deliberately provocative acts aimed at raising tensions in the run up to the Twelfth," Mr Watton told the Chronicle.
