A BIG-HEARTED Bushmills man is hoping to bring comfort to those dealing with grief through his melody written in memory of his mum.
Lee McVicker has been astounded at the amount of online support he has received on his Facebook page after releasing his first ever professionally recorded song written by himself and tribute to his mother, 'Final Goodbye.'
The musician, has reached more than 17,000 views on some of his cover songs, including the popular 'Fifty Shades of Grey' song 'Love Me Like You Do'.
However, he hopes that his newest addition will help bring peace to people who are still grieving over a loved one who has passed away.
Lee explained how his mother, Denise McGrotty who lived in Limavady, suffered from mental health problems, resulting in her having to take a cocktail of medication.
The 23-year-old said: "Mum struggled with mental health problems when she was in her 20s and when I was around three-years-old, I was taken into foster care.
“My dad fought to keep me and I only seen my mum through contact centres. She had to take around 20 tablets a day and you could see that they really bloated her up!"
