THE heartbroken daughter of Coleraine murder victim Marion Millican has spoken of her hatred towards her mother's cold-blooded killer.
In an episode of UTV's current affairs programme 'Up Close' tonight (Tuesday, November 28) Suzanne Davis says she will never forgive Fred McClenaghan who shot his former partner Mrs Millican at point-blank range in a Portstewart laundrette in 2011.
McClenaghan, 55, was locked up for at least 13 years last week after finally admitting his guilt.
The programme investigates the issue of domestic violence in Northern Ireland in an in-depth programme at 10.45pm.
The team speaks to local families devastated by domestic violence, and asks key members of the Northern Ireland justice system why laws to help protect victims here are so far behind the rest of the UK.
Mrs Millican's only daughter Suzanne speaks emotionally of the events which led to McClenaghan, from Broad Street, Magherafelt, finally being brought to justice.
She said: "I will never forgive him, never. A lot of people have different beliefs and would be very forgiving, but no, I'll hate him to the day I die."
