‘Break the Silence Trust’ gets October launch date thumbnail

THE 'Zachary Geddis Break The Silence Trust' will be launched next month to help fight the stigma surrounding mental illness, the family of the Coleraine man has revealed.
The trust will have its official launch on October 16 on what would have been Zachary's 21st birthday. The talented arts student passed away in London on March 18 this year.
Announcing plans at a fundraising evening in Shenanigans, Portstewart, on Friday evening, Zachary's sister Yasmin said her family were uniquely placed to help others.
“The Break the Silence Trust will highlight that 'not all wounds are visible' as Zachary was beautiful, supported, talented, intelligent and privileged, yet he still became a victim to his own mind," explained Yasmin.
