THE countdown has started to the Cancer Focus Northern Ireland Pooches at the Port dog walk at Portrush's West Strand this Saturday (August 26).
Dog lovers, their four-legged friends and families are invited to take part in the event which starts at Station Square at 11am to raise vital funds for the charity's family support service.
The sponsored walk is suitable for dogs and owners of all ages, shapes and sizes. Cancer Focus NI has partnered up with the Harbour Bar and LetzPet, the animal health food company based in Coleraine, who will be launching their new pet health campaign, with a special focus on pet cancer, at the event.
Lending his support to the campaign, former Premier League football manager David Moyes also stepped in to help launch this unique event.
LetzPet will have a stall on the day giving information to pet owners and there will be a pet health survey that you can fill in.
