PIE chain Greggs is set to open its latest shop in Coleraine, providing a much-needed town centre jobs boost.
A 10-year lease has been signed for ground-floor premises in Church Street, formerly occupied by the Blue Inc fashion retailers, with plans for seating to accommodate more than 40 diners as well as take-away services.
Richard McLaughlin, Director and owner of Coleraine-based Northern Real Estate (NRE), who secured the rental deal, said: "We are delighted that the lease has been signed, after months of negotiations.
“It's a prime retail site and great news for Coleraine town centre, giving it another string to its bow over the Riverside retail park."
Chartered surveyor Richard added: "Bringing a national chain to Coleraine will hopefully breathe new life into the town centre by giving shoppers more choice, as well as creating new jobs.
