‘Superstars’ on side to remember Zachary thumbnail

THE heartbroken sister of a young Coleraine man who took his own life is determined to ensure his death will not have been vain.
Zachary Geddis was only 20 when he tragically died in March this year, while studying fashion illustration at London's University of the Arts.
Yasmin, Zachary's only sister, is now hoping her family's agonising experience will help others who are suffering from mental health difficulties. With this in mind she has set up a blog and is sharing her story.
When making the harrowing journey to London the very next day, the Geddis family were put in touch with the Kevin Bell Reparation Trust (KBRT), who after only two emails, made all the necessary arrangements to have Zachary's final journey home.
The process, which could have potentially taken up to three weeks without their assistance, was completed within days of his passing.
The dedicated charity work of the KBRT gave Yasmin the opportunity to say goodbye to her best friend and brother and spurred a new challenge in her life as she set about raising money for the charity that brought her brother home with speed and dignity.
