THE mother of the 12-year-old Coleraine boy who fell 15 feet down a cliff at Castlerock on Sunday has said that it "was an absolute miracle" that he survived the fall.
Speaking exclusively to the Chronicle yesterday, Ruth Price expressed her relief that her son Daniel survived with only minor injuries and paid tribute to the emergency services and local people who came to their aid.
She said she was "really happy" at how things finally turned out for her young son Daniel and that it "could have been a really different story."
Ruth said: "To have my boy walk out of hospital after falling like that was a miracle. I made the 999 call and the Coastguard arrived nine minutes later with over a dozen people there in 15 minutes, it was incredible and we are so thankful for all their help. Everyone was absolutely fantastic."
