EAST Londonderry MP Gregory Campbell has urged Jim Allister to 'see the wider picture' after the TUV leader lodged an uncompromising objection to a North Coast luxury hotel development.
Mr Allister, who owns a holiday home near the site, questions the need for more hotel beds and claims the plans would result in 'brash, 'in your face' unsightliness."
Among organisations registering support for the 120 bedroom development next to the NW200 paddock are the Coleraine and District Motor Club, the Causeway Chamber of Commerce, the Northern Ireland Hotel Federation and The Open Championship organisers, the R&A.
The application has also attracted over 36 objections, mostly from local residents.
