Lorry driver won’t be prosecuted - police thumbnailAn inspection of the railway bridge found that it had not been damaged in the accident.

THE driver who found himself in a tight spot when the lorry he was driving caught on a Coleraine bridge will not face criminal charges.
The incident happened earlier this month and led to the car transporter catching on the NI Railway-owned bridge on the Millburn Road.
Although the road remained open, minor disruption was caused to traffic entering and leaving the town centre as the lorry was freed.
No reports of injuries were received following the low speed accident with Translink has confirming the structure suffered no damage.
A spokeswoman for Translink told The Chronicle: "A structural assessment was carried out on the railway bridge at Millburn Road in Coleraine after it was struck by a car transporter earlier this month.
