House fire ‘deliberate’ thumbnailThe Obuchowicz family who were left homeless by a house fire which is now being treated as malicious.

POLICE now believe that a devastating house fire in Coleraine, which left two families homeless, may have been started deliberately.
Marcin and Martyna Obuchowicz, and their three-year-old son Adam, lost their home and valuable belongings following the devastating fire, which broke out on the Ballycastle Road in the early hours of Sunday, January 22.
Terri Peden, who lives next door to the Obuchowicz family, rushed into her neighbours' house to lift young Adam out of bed and wake Marcin and Martyna to alert them of the fire in their home.
Terri and her husband Sean and family were also left homeless by the blaze, causing them to seek refuge in a nearby hotel on the day of the fire.
In last week's Chronicle the grateful family, who are originally from Poland, issued a huge thanks to Terri who risked everything to save a neighbour.
