THE leading leisure development company behind plans to develop the former Dunluce Centre in Portrush anticipates that 'all phases' will be open and trading in time for the return of The Open golf championship in 2019.
HWM Properties, which bought the council-owned facility for £1m late last year, has revealed exciting proposals to rejuvenate an attraction which closed three years ago.
A spokesperson for the company said HWM Properties was "delighted" to be working with Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council "to develop a state of the art family entertainment and adventure centre at the former Dunluce Centre".
“HWM intends to redevelop the property and adjoining lands on a phased basis into a multi-use facility offering fun and challenging activities tailored to all age groups with enough variety to ensure repeat trips whatever the weather," said the spokesperson.
“Phase A will include a kids adventure park, family climbing centre and family themed restaurant while Phases B and C will include will include a water activity centre and world class BBQ Surf Club.
