Freerunner killed on Paris Metro thumbnailNye Frankie Newman (17) was killed while using the public transport network in the French capital.

A TALENTED freerunner, who performed a series of somersaults at the Giant's Causeway, during a visit to Northern Ireland last year has died following a rail accident on the Paris Metro on New Year's Eve.
Nye Frankie Newman (17) was killed while using the public transport network in the French capital.
Friends and fellow members of his parkour group have denied that he was 'train surfing' at the time.
Poignantly, in one of his last posts on social media, the teenager said he was looking forward to an exciting New Year.
"2016: Greece, Morocco, Spain, France, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Northern Ireland, Germany, Denmark, Italy, Finland, China, The Philippines, Hong Kong and The Netherlands," he posted.
“It's been a hectic year full of lots of mental memories and some unfortunate things like leaving the EU, but hopefully it will all only lead to a better future.
“Thanks to everyone who made this year for me, here's one from Hong Kong a few months ago."
Craze
Mr Newman, from Guildford in Surrey, was a well-known freerunner and part of a craze which sees people climb and jump over obstacles and buildings in urban environments.
