Mayor’s parlour £30k refurb thumbnail

QUESTIONS have been raised about the recent refurbishment of the Mayor's parlour in Cloonavin at a cost of almost £30,000.
Causeway Coast and Glens Councillors raised the issue of the necessity to spend the money on an upgrade of the ceremonial 122 square feet room for the First Citizen.
And they questioned if there was a business case for it at the meeting of full council on Tuesday, December 20.
DUP Councillor Aaron Callan had requested clarification, at Environmental Services Committee meeting earlier in the month, as to who authorised the works carried out on the Mayor's Parlour, the total cost and breakdown of the works, and when it was expected to be finished.
