Help Hunterís fight for life thumbnailNine-year-old Hunter Mc Crellis from Portrush.

A SPECIAL appeal has been launched for a Portrush boy suffering from cancer - and shoppers could help save his life! For a new pop-up shop, inspired by young Hunter McCrellis, has opened in Ballymoney to help raise as much money as possible for children with cancer.
Earlier this year the nine-year-old was diagnosed with Burkitts, or BCell non Hodgkin Lymphoma which spread rapidly to his mouth, pancreas and kidneys. He was left fighting for his life in intensive care in March.
With no spare cash, mum Donna has been fundraising to convert the dining room at their home into another bedroom so Hunter can have his own bedroom, reducing the risk of further infections.
Hearing of her efforts, good friend Michelle Moffet took action to help speed up funding by setting up the 'Burst' store, at Silversprings in Ballymoney.
She said: "It's really not right for a child to go through that. Their own fundraising efforts were going slow and so I decided to get involved and do something as well, which is when I came up with the idea of the shop."
Donna praised Michelle for her efforts and said she appreciates all her hard work.
